la karta was created in 2000 when owner/designer Krissy decided to make some stationery for herself. The day after her first creation, she showed her work to some friends who immeadiately wanted some! Through word of mouth more and more people began to place orders and so la karta was born. All cards/notepads are handmade by Krissy and when orders fly in too fast, she has the help of her mom Helen!
