It all began one day when I went searching for some red silk damask for a project, and in the process I found a bunch of other red bits & bobs. Always having a penchant for displaying and arranging, I cleared off our tiny white coffee table and...starting with a spray of vintage velvet millinery leaves, I arranged a vignette, which I then photographed, so that I wouldn't forget what it looked like. The result was my very first object photograph ~ Scarlet.
