heidi and seek is an eco-friendly, sweatshop-free women’s clothing line. Each garment is wearable, unique and edgy. Most are one-offs or very limited edition.
Hayley Lau, the label’s founder, designs and sews each garment from reclaimed materials. She aims to counter the disposable nature of today’s fashion industry, which relies on exploited workers to bear the cost of the low prices offered to customers.
I'm Hayley. I design and sew edgy, one-off women's clothing from reclaimed materials for my new label, heidi and seek. I aim to raise awareness and provide an alternative to mass-produced, sweatshop made clothing that damages the environment and exploits garment workers.
My clothing is wearable, edgy and unique. I love playing with colours, challenging convention and making clothes that are unlike any I've seen before.
