dot + jim notes is a collection of stationery based heavily in collage. There are a few different lines that have specific themes, such as fortunotes and sentimental spots. Fortunotes have Chinese fortunes incorporated in the design of the card. Sentimental spots take viewers into a particular spot they feel connected to, such as Grandma's kitchen or a book nook.
I just recently finished up my M.A. degree in Advertising Design at The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). I discovered my passion for collage and designing cards.
I've explored a few different directions in my work throughout the past few months, but one of my most recent projects deal with paint chips (yes, paint chips). This project entitled "More Than Just A Color" unifies the name of the paint chip to either a visual or a phrase.
