I'm a photographer at heart, but sometimes I believe I would rather paint:) I guess I'm drawn to paintinglike photography, such as polaroid images for instance. Polaroids I often use for creations, and I have taught myself the technics of polaroidcollages, falling in love with its imperfectness, what shows on the prints as dust, lines, bubbles and so on. Many of the backgrounds in my polaroids are created myself, using acryllic paints on canvas.
I still use analogue photography, and I find it a great medium to experiment. Most of my work is exactly that, experimental. I'm drawn mostly to nature, and the change of seasons. I'm trying to capture it's mood in my images. The images can be seen as a moment in time, a startingpoint to ponder.
I'm autodidact, and by not being bound to strict photographic rules, I can keep on experimenting.
