I make and sell one of a kind and vintage clothing and accessories. I reinvent, reconstruct, and deconstruct vintage clothing, I use alot of vintage and antique fabrics, laces and trims, I make frilly romantic, hippie, boho, goth, clothing,
jewelry, and accessories. I have been known to slavage buttons , beads, lace, and any bits of silk, cotton, velvet, embroidery or needle work, from vintage garments which are no longer wearable.
my sewing techniques are decidedly primative on purpose, i like to see the hand stitches on garments, it has always been a sign of love for me. My grand mother use to make my clothes when i was a little girl and i remember seeing the hand stitches in the hem or the button holes or the collars and knowing her hands had worked on what i was wearing was a comfort to me.
