Handmade soap is a passion in our household. Like most other soapmakers, I started making my own soap because I did not like the way commercial soaps performed on my family's skin. We were itchy, dry, and just generally miserable. I started reading about handmade soap and its benefits, and soon I was trying out my first batch. Before long I was completely hooked! We set up tables at local farmers markets, and became a huge hit.
